Somalia parliament speaker quits ahead of motion against him: lawmaker
MOGADISHU (Reuters) - The speaker of Somalia's parliament, Mohamed Sheikh Osman Jawari, has resigned ahead of a confidence motion against him, a lawmaker said, ending weeks of political tension.
